Ohio is home to a growing community of immigrants. Many of these immigrants have the legal right to stay in the country but are often denied full due process. Psychological evaluations are one of the most effective, yet underutilized, tools for successful cases, roughly doubling the chance of their case being accepted. Yet very few immigrants can afford these evaluations.

Kyri Shaffer seeks to ensure that all immigrants have the right to a high-quality evaluation and to full due process. In addition to providing subsidized evaluations, Kyri has partnerships with several organizations to offer evaluations free of cost to eligible clients.
